Day 1--45 minutes to make vessel

Day 2 [OPTIONAL]--60 minutes to glaze vessel

Goals: Students will learn basic slab building method of creating functional pottery

Students can make vases, cups, or mugs that

• celebrate the individual identities of students

• are gifts for loved ones

• explore color, shape, and / or texture
